Career Technical Education

CTE provides the high level skills necessary for the 21st century workforce and integrates academics as a significant portion of the curriculum. In CTE, learners find success through project-based learning with a hands-on approach. Learners experience both rigor and relevance in the classroom to become both career and college ready.

CTE provides students with exciting options. Not only do they learn valuable job skills, they have an opportunity to explore career interests and potential college majors prior to finishing high school.

And, CTE adds real world experience to personal narratives for college applications. In today’s competitive world, real job skills and workplace knowledge are valuable commodities that set people apart in both college and career. Job skills can also help pay college bills!
