The Point Arena High School Boosters Club is a California non-profit 501 (c)(3) Corporation made up of spirited volunteers, which was originally created to provide financial assistance that enabled any and all students to participate in athletics. Over the years, through membership fees, donations and fund raising activities, the Club has evolved to provide financial support to many school programs and extracurricular activities, for the benefit of students.

This year is the PAHS Boosters 30th Annual Golf Tourney to be held April 29th, 2017, at the Sea Ranch Golf Links. Find out more and download the participation form here

Our Mission Statement:

The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be to raise funds to provide financial assistance to Point Arena High School programs such as athletics, drama, band, shop, photography, journalism, art, science lab, student leadership, and other student programs.

Membership Fees:
(Membership is open to the general public.)

~General – $15.00 per person (annual):
Member receives $1.00 discount on tickets to athletic home games*, drama and music programs. *Excluding tournaments.

~Family – $40.00 per family (annual):
All family members receive $1.00 discount per ticket to athletic home games*, drama and music programs. *Excluding tournaments.

~Business – $50.00 per business (annual):
All business members receive $1.00 discount per ticket to athletic home games*, drama and music programs. *Excluding tournaments.

~Pirate Treasure Card – $100.00 or more per person (annual):
Free admission to all athletic events*, drama events, and music programs.  *Excluding tournaments.

Business Advertising at Annual Golf Tournament Fees:

[ ] Sign Sponsor (sign will be hung at a golf tee) – $75.00
[ ] Corporate Sponsor (banner to be hung at the golf course) – $250.00

Booster Meetings

Regular monthly Booster Director meetings, open to all, are held on the second Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at North Gualala Water Company Conference room in Gualala. *Sometimes subject to change please check with the High School Secretary prior to each meeting for confirmation.

Creative Writing Contest
$100 prize

Please share! STUDENTS WELCOME! There is a $100 prize for top student entries! Please share with teachers! 🙂 This year's Gualala Arts Creative Writing Contest genre is POETRY! Each submission may consist of no more than three poems totaling no more than 100 lines. It should not include the author’s name. Submission deadline is April 30 at 4 pm. A completed entry form available on-line or at the Art Center office MUST ACCOMPANY the manuscript. The fifteenth annual Gualala Arts Creative Writing Contest offers $ 1,000 in prize money provided by The Sea Ranch Foundation and Gualala Rotary Club who have jointly sponsored the event since its inception in 2003. Entries are judged on literary elements of poetry, form, mechanics, originality and overall effect. All full or part-time coastal residents from Elk to Timber Cove who have not previously had poetry published in a book or periodical with the exception of school publications are eligible. Previous contest winners in this genre are also not eligible as sponsors want to encourage new voices. Entries must be received at the Gualala Arts Center in person, via email at, or by mail at P.O. Box 244, Gualala, CA 95445 before the submission deadline of Monday, April 30 at 4 pm.
