Literary Arts

Under the guidance of Ms. Krogel, the PAHS Literature Club meets in Room 16 on Thursdays at lunch.

Jolie Torres won Honorable Mention for the 2024 Ukiah Haiku Festival- 10-12th Grade Division! She has an invitation to read her haiku at the festival on Sunday, April 28 at 2 pm at the Ukiah Civics Center and the event is free and open to the public should you want to attend.

The Literature Club is taking a field trip to the festival (and to the City of 10,000 Buddhas + the local bookstore in Ukiah), so we hope she joins us on the trip to accept her award!

“She reads books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live.”
