Under the guidance of Ms. Lang, the PAHS Art Program participates in the annual Art in the Schools Show at Gualala Arts Center in Gualala, CA.
Along with other coastal schools, selected works from Point Arena High School’s Art department are on display at the Gualala Arts Center.

Arena Union Elementary School Students Visit High School Ceramics Studio
On Tuesday, Lori Ledbetter’s kindergarten class visited the PAHS Ceramics Studio and worked with high school students in Ms. Lang’s 5th period class to create sculptures! The Arena Union kindergartners were paired up with high school ceramics students to make their sculptures and they ended their visit with a glimpse of the kiln and all of the works in progress by high school students.
We hope to have more little ones visit the ceramics studio in the future! Thank you Hugh, Jada, Lillian and Melanie for your hard work!
Having Fun in Ceramics
We just completed our first quarter of ceramics with some students starting the wheel and others getting their first hand built creations using the pinch pot technique out of the kiln!
