Women in STEM Skilled Trades Conference

Our goal is to attract more female students to STEM skilled trades career pathway. We host events at our campuses all over the country.
At our Women in STEM conferences, we invite high school girls to come to our campus so they can see what a true STEM post-secondary school looks like and to expose them to STEM careers. We bring in a panel of successful women in STEM from various companies and organizations so the girls can interact with them. They share their stories on how they got to where they are to inspire young women so they know they can do this, too. We always have STEM demonstrations and, of course, we feed them lunch!
It’s a great way to show your female and non-binary students a whole new world they did not know was available to them. They can also learn about scholarship opportunities available to them as they continue their post-secondary education.
