Leaving Campus Early Policy
If it is necessary for a student to leave school, he/she must have written permission from a parent/guardian. The student must bring a written excuse to the Attendance Clerk before school or during lunch, and secure an OFF CAMPUS PASS before leaving school property.
In an emergency, a parent may call the school and speak with the Attendance Clerk to give the student permission to leave campus. Text messages are not an acceptable form of communication nor will they be accepted as notes to allow a student to leave school.
Students must sign out in the main office before leaving campus. Students are not allowed on the Arena Elementary Campus or Charter School during the school day unless they are assigned to be there.
Point Arena School District prohibits discrimination, intimidation, harassment (including sexual harassment) or bullying based on a person’s actual or perceived age, ancestry, color, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, immigration status, marital status, medical information, national origin, parental status, pregnancy status, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics.)
