SRJC Spanish Offerings

SRJC opens Spanish 2 for 2nd year students and Spanish 40 for native speakers to take Spanish 1

The SRJC World Languages department just opened two new Spanish courses. Enrollment is now open:

•    SPAN 2 section 6396– Asynchronous

    ◦    If you have completed Spanish 1 with SRJC, you can take this class.
◦    If you have completed a year of Spanish 1 in high school, please use the prerequisite challenge form to document that you have completed Spanish 1.

    ▪    Answer NO to the first question.
▪    Answer YES to the second question.
▪    Fill out the form.  Attach proof of course completion or in-progress.
•    SPAN 40 section 6397– Asynchronous

    ◦    Designed for heritage/native speakers to take, instead of SPAN 1.
◦    This requires a prerequisite challenge: https://admissions.santarosa.edu/prerequisitecorequisite-challenge-form

    ▪    Answer NO to the first question.
▪    Answer YES to the second question.
▪    Fill out the form.  Explain that you are a native speaker.

Both will be late-start courses, beginning the week of February 10, and they will run for 13 weeks.
If you are a new dual-enrolled student and need to start the admissions process, please talk with Ms. Miller and begin with Dual Enrollment For High School Students.
